What it means

The sixth popularly elected Nam-gu administration will put its top priority on citizens and seek an administration that communicates with them so that all 350,000 inhabitants here make Nam-gu a liveable, warm and happy city.

Goals

• City reviving the economy
  Nam-gu aims create a coordination scheme with businesses in the area and promote the lifestyle stability of citizens through job creation.
  Nam-gu seeks to lead mutual cooperation between enterprise and small businesses. Simultaneously, Nam-gu will inject fresh vigor into the city by developing its unique food industry matching diversifying economic surroundings.
• City prioritizing employment
  It goes without saying that the best welfare policy is to create decent jobs.
  In this regard, Nam-gu will give top priority to generating effective jobs conforming to regional conditions and strengthen support of jobs tailored to each gender and age. This will make it possible for every citizen to have good jobs easily.
• City ensuring safety
  Nam-gu will promote a safe and pleasant disaster-free residential environment where citizens can live without fear
  Nam-gu will pledge to create a person-centered government, taking responsibility for the lives and safety of citizens.
• City with solid welfare
  Welfare policy will become more active, especially for the socially disadvantaged and neglected, so that all citizens can lead basic lives.
  An inclusive welfare society for all will become a reality by crafting a systematic and solid support system for neighbors in need.
• City where culture is alive
  Based on its specialized cultural and touristic content, Nam-gu will create an ecological system in which culture and nature coexist.
  By expanding citizens’ opportunities to relish culture and arts and participate in sporting events, it will also open an era of living culture, where citizens can easily access culture anywhere.
• City with clean administration
  To realize an open government working together with citizens, Nam-gu will give them more opportunities to communicate and participate.
  A trusted administration will be realized, by creating a clean public office culture through the performance of business fairly and transparently.
