Ulsan Nam-gu (Mayor Dong-wook Seo) announced on the 3rd that its wrestling team from the Nam-gu Office workplace athletic team achieved valuable results at the “2026 National Team Final Selection Tournament” held in Pyeongchang, including the successful selection for the national team.

No Yeong-hun topped the podium in the Greco-Roman (77 kg) sector to secure his place in the national team, confirming his entry to the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games.

Im Hak-su also finished 2nd in the Mens Freestyle (92 kg) sector, proving both players are top-level national players based on their stable technique execution, strong endurance, and concentration.

This achievement is seen to be the fruit of the Nam-gu workplace athletic team’s systematic athlete development and continuous support policies, expected to greatly contribute to enhancing the status of local sports.

No Yeong-hun entered the Jincheon National Training Center of KSOC on Mar. 1 to start intensive training in preparation for the Asian Games, where systematic sports science-based training programs will maximize competitiveness in the international stage.

A Nam-gu official commented “I am excited the two players were able to return with great achievements as a bright torch that lights up the future of Nam-gu’s sports”, and “We will provide continuous support and interest to allow the discovery and training of more sports talent.”
