11 Newly Appointed Nam-gu Administrative Officers Join the “Kind Start” Campaign Together!
- Group enrollment ceremony for the sharing angel fund - Ulsan Nam-gu (Mayor Dong-wook Seo) announced that Nam-gu’s 11 new appointed secretaries that returned from the class 5 leader promotion training will join the “Kind Start” Sharing Angel Fund (Regular monthly donations of KRW 10,000 or over) to support crisis households within the community. 11 newly promoted Nam-gu secretaries ( Han Seong-su, Kim Seon-hye, Jeon Sun-bae, Eom Min-yeong, Kwon Gwi-mae, Kwon Jeong-sim, Sin Mi-kyeong, Ha Tae-jung, Kim Hui-jeong, Lee Eun-yeong, Ko Jong-gil) are acting as a role model within the public sector through the “Kind Start” group joining ceremony while they receive their promotion plaque after finishing their 6-week training at the Local Government Officials Development Institute on Feb. 27. “Kind Start” refers to participating in regular donations over KRW 10,000 for special occasions such as childbirth, marriage, employment, and promotion, etc., which collected a total of KRW 97,641,570 through participation from a total of 121 households based on January 2026. Secretary Han Seong-su (Head of policy and media) commented “I am glad that all of my 11 colleagues that were promoted can participate in Nam-gu’s representative Sharing Angel welfare project after returning from training”, and “I will keep on promoting the Sharing Angel initiative even after returning to our respective roles to strive to support crisis households”. Mayor Dong-wook Seo emphasized “Donations can be very difficult to continue regardless of amount, so I am very proud of our newly promoted secretaries”, and “I will try my best to vitalize fundraising activities through various methods as we approach our 10th anniversary of the Sharing Angel so we can carry out niche welfare projects.” |
