Ulsan Nam-gu (Mayor Dong-wook Seo) announced on the 8th that it is continuing to operate the “Happy Dream Suit,” a free interview suit rental project for young people, again this year to ease the economic burden on local youth preparing for employment.

“Happy Dream Suit” is a youth employment support project that rents out suits necessary for interviews free of charge. Since its inception in 2019, the number of users has steadily increased every year, receiving a positive response from young job seekers.

Last year, a total of 631 suit rentals were processed, and 373 young people achieved the meaningful result of successfully finding employment.

In the user satisfaction survey, 99% of users (89% very satisfied, 10% satisfied) expressed satisfaction. Satisfaction was high regarding the reduction of economic burden, the high quality of the suits, and friendly service, with requests for the continuous operation of the project and expansion of participation opportunities.

Accordingly, Nam-gu will operate the Happy Dream Suit project again this year by strengthening operational stability and accessibility so that more young people can receive practical help during the interview preparation process.

The support targets are young job seekers aged 19 to 39 who are registered residents of Ulsan Nam-gu as of the application date. They can rent a suit set and shoes for free up to 3 times a year, for a period of up to 4 days per rental.

Young people wishing to use the service can visit Ulsan Job Cafe (2nd floor, 130 Daehak-ro, Nam-gu) to apply in advance, and then pick up the suit after fitting/alterations at the designated rental shop, Charles Taylor (6 Wolpyeong-ro 191beon-gil, Nam-gu Ulsan).

When applying, applicants must submit an ID card to verify Nam-gu residency and documents proving participation in an interview (text message, KakaoTalk, job posting, etc.). For further details, inquiries can be made to Ulsan Job Cafe (☎+82-52-260-2700).

A Nam-gu official said, “We will continue to expand employment support policies that young people can tangibly feel from their perspective.”
