Ulsan Nam-gu Office’s archery team achieved outstanding results at the 42nd National President’s Cup University and Business Archery Competition, gaining national recognition.

At the event held from August 25 to 30,
Hwang Seok-min claimed 1st place in the recurve individual event and 2nd in doubles. In the compound category,
Yang Jae-won earned 3rd in individual, 1st in singles, 1st in doubles, and 3rd in both mixed and mixed team events, further elevating the team’s status.

Although compound archer
Choe Eun-gyu did not participate due to preparations for the 2025 World Championships, the Nam-gu team demonstrated its prowess with strong teamwork and excellent performance.

Founded in 1998, the Nam-gu archery team is currently composed of seven athletes―four in recurve and three in compound―under the guidance of head coach
Hwang Eun-hui.
