Ulsan Nam-gu (Mayor Dong-wook Seo) announced that it will begin nighttime operations of the Happy Dog Park from June 3 to August 30, coinciding with the summer months when pet activity increases.

Nighttime operations will be conducted from 9:00 PM every Tuesday to Saturday. Access requires an entrance fee of KRW 2,000 for Nam-gu residents, KRW 3,000 for visitors, and KRW 1,000 for eligible discount recipients, which is limited to dogs that have completed animal registration.

The Happy Dog Park is located within the Munsu International Archery Center (209 Nambusunhwan-doro).

Key facilities include a playing facility, shaded rest zone, fecal waste disposal bin, and CCTV cameras, among others.

Additionally, the areas for small and large dogs are separated to significantly reduce the risk of safety incidents.

Especially, a pool will also be operated for pets to enjoy playing in the water during the hot weather periods of nighttime operation.

A Nam-gu official stated, “By providing a space for dogs to play off-leash and a water park where pets can enjoy safe and pleasant water activities, we will continue to work towards creating a joyful Nam-gu where people and pets coexist in harmony.”

In the meantime, Happy Dog Park is offering a pet education program, a mobile pet health checkup center, and pet grooming training, all at no cost.
