Ulsan Nam-gu (Mayor Dong-wook Seo) announced on the 22nd that it has produced and distributed the “Alley Shop Tour Map” to effectively promote local small business districts to residents and visitors.

Unlike existing promotional maps that were produced for a single commercial district, the “Alley Shop Tour Map” was produced by integrating all commercial districts in Nam-gu to be able to see local small business districts, alley shopping area, and good price businesses at a glance.

Additionally, various illustrations were used to help identify the location and distinct features of each local small business districts, and a QR code in the map allows easy storage and sharing.

After its completion last March after data investigation, etc., it was promoted and distributed to each store during the “Gunggeorang Hanmadang Festival” event, were a total of 15,000 were distributed to 12 local small business districts such as the Dal-dong food alley and 4 key tourist attractions such as the Jangsaengpo Culture Warehouse, etc., also including the upcoming hydrangea festival scheduled for May to target residents and visitors.

The maps were placed in visible locations such as each store and tourist information center, etc., so it is easily accessible by residents and visitors, and it can also be downloaded online through the Nam-gu website.

A Nam-gu official announced “We wish residents and visitors can easily discover the charm of our local small business districts using our new map that shows alleyway stores at a glance”, and “We will continuously carry out various promotional activities to raise recognition and vitalize the local small business districts in Nam-gu.”
