Ulsan Nam-gu (Mayor Dong-wook Seo) announced the launch of the “
Solmarugil Trail Forest Experience Program 2025” on the 7th. This program aims to alleviate physical and emotional fatigue through nature, allowing participants to rejuvenate and appreciate the value of both nature and life.

The Solmarugil Trail Forest Experience Program will operate for eight months, from April to November, offering four courses that begin at the
Samsan Arboreal Study Center, a natural learning facility located within the city, and the meticulously designed Solmarugil hiking trail.

This program targets all age groups, including children and adults, by fostering an interest in the forest. It offers activities that engage all the senses for children, provides forest education that aligns with the curriculum for students, and features a daily vacation program for adults.

The program, now in its 14th iteration since its inception in July 2012, was held 281 times last year and attracted 5,680 participants, making it a widely popular annual forest education initiative.

Nam-gu will newly select professional consignment operation agencies through public recruitment and review, and place two qualified forest commentators to operate custom programs according to the age group and season.

The Solmarugil Trail Forest Experience Program can be participated from ages 3 to adults by applying through the Solmarugil website (https://www.ulsannamgu.go.kr/solmaru).
