Nam-gu, Ulsan (Mayor Seo Dong-wook) announced on the 14th that it was selected as the only excellent local government among the five districts of Ulsan in the "2023 National Safety Education Inspection" conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety for 268 organizations, including central and local governments.

The National Safety Education Inspection is a system that evaluates the previous year's ▲ safety education promotion performance ▲ creation of safety education foundation ▲ interest in safety education ▲ safety education cooperation system establishment ▲ excellent cases by checking 20 items in five fields in accordance with Articles 7 and 17 of the Basic Act on the Promotion of National Safety Education from 2019 for organizations promoting safety education such as central and local governments.

Nam-gu, Ulsan was highly praised for its experience-oriented safety education using door-to-door life safety education and the Happy Safety Experience Center, which targets vulnerable groups such as the elderly, the disabled, and multicultural families, and contributes to raising safety awareness and spreading safety culture by providing educational opportunities to many residents in cooperation with related organizations and groups.
